Due to the nature of COVID-19, everyone should rigorously follow the practices specified in these protocols, all of which facilitate a safe and measured reopening of Texas.
Cosmetology salons may adopt additional protocols consistent with their specific needs and circumstances to help protect the health and safety of all employees and customers.
Here are the guidelines:
*Please wear a mask to your appointment and for the entire duration of your service. Your appointment will be rescheduled if you do not have a mask.
*Please do not wear gloves. Everything you touch while wearing gloves will stick to the gloves and you will bring that in to the salon.
*Please wait in your car and text me when you arrive. Clients can no longer wait in the lobby area.
*No extra guests or children can come with you to your appointment.
*When you arrive at my suite, please do not touch the door. I will let you in and open the door for you when you leave.
*Wash hands when you enter the room. I will have a touch-free soap dispenser with anti-bacterial soap and disposable hand towels for you.
*You will be required each time to fill out a consent form pertaining to COVID-19. Service will not continue without it.
*It is recommended for the time being to offer shorter length services so that clients are not in the room for too long.
*I will wear gloves to process your credit card payment. If you wish to do contactless payment, I will email you an invoice that you can pay before you leave.
*I will have hand sanitizer for you when you leave or you can wash your hands again. I will open the door for you.
I will take extra precautions to ensure the health and safety of my clients as well as myself. Please do not book an appointment if you have any symptoms of possible COVID-19 or other illness. If you recently traveled, please wait the recommended 14 days before booking an appointment. If I have reason to believe you are sick, I will cancel your appointment.
