INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO PREPARE FOR LASH LIFT
The night before your service, please do the following:
Remove eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara with an oil-free eye makeup remover.
Avoid applying eye creams and face creams near the eyes.
Before you come to your appointment, please be aware of the following:
-
A patch test is mandatory. Please select a time to come in 24-72 hours before your appointment.
-
Please keep in mind that even if the patch test produces no adverse reaction, you can still have a reaction or allergy to the service after it is done. In the unfortunate event that you do develop an allergic reaction, please seek medical treatment immediately.
-
You must remove contacts. Please bring a case or ask me for one. Wearing contacts can cause fumes to get trapped behind the lenses resulting in a chemical burn to your eyes.
-
Your eyes will be closed for the entire service so please have your cell phones on silent.
-
It is recommended for pregnant women to avoid lash lifts. Changes in hormones can result in the lashes not lifting.
Avoid for 24 hours:
-
Getting lashes wet! Avoid excessive sweating, steam from showers, tears, and so on. This will reverse the lift.
-
Sleeping on your face and smashing your lashes.
When to Rebook:
-
Ideal time frame to book another lift is 4-8 weeks.
-
When your lashes grow out, you may notice the curl dropping and a mixture of straight and curly lashes. This is perfectly normal and is a good indicator that you are ready to book your next lift.
CAUTION
If you have had an eye infection, eye surgery or Lasik surgery within 6 months, it is recommended to get a release form from your physician before getting a lash tint, lash lift, or lash extension service.
